SOCIAL BOWLS
At Nelson Bay Bowling Club, social bowlers and groups are always welcome. We kindly ask that you phone ahead to register for any of our social bowls listed below or to book a rink / green for barefoot bowls.
Barefoot Bowling Rates:
- Adults – $15.00
- Family (2 Adults & 2 Children) – $38.00 If you’re looking to schedule a fun and productive team-building event, we also cater for corporate days, Christmas parties, special birthdays, hen’s and bucks shows.

Weekly Social Bowling Schedule:
Social entry fees: $10.00 per person ($5.00 Daily Raffle Optional) Monday 10.00am to 7.00pm – Synthetic green available for social practice.
Tuesday 9.30am – Ladies Pairs/Triples – Neat/Casual attire required – Prizes awarded.
Wednesday – 1:00pm – Men’s Triples – Neat casual attire required – Prizes awarded.
Thursday – 9.30am – Mixed Pairs/Triples – Neat/Casual attire required – Prizes awarded.
Friday – 1:00pm – Men’s Jackpot Pairs – Neat/Casual attire required – Jackpot Increases by $50 per week – Prizes awarded.
Saturday – 10.30am – Open Pairs – Not played during the Pennant Season – Please contact the Club for playing dates – Team and Single entries accepted. Neat/Casual attire required.
Sunday – 10.30am – Scroungers / Open Pairs – Team and Single entries accepted. Neat/Casual attire required.
Our Greens are Open for a Social Practice everyday after 10.00am. Availability of rinks/greens is dependant on the above social bowls program. Neat/Casual attire required.
