After a long day of bowling, what’s better than kicking back with some cold ale? Whether you’d like to relax with your friends or sip on a frosty beverage, we have you covered every step of the way. In fact, Nelson Bay Bowling Club currently features 4 bars where you can enjoy a number of different atmospheres.
THE SPORTS BAR
Situated on the ground floor of our facility, the Sports Bar overlooks the Bay and our bowling greens. Patrons of the Sports Bar experience a casual setting where fun and conversation are encouraged. Multiple large screen TVs for prime viewing of all the latest sports, and Stand alone TAB & Keno facilities. Best of all, there’s always something tasty on tap!
THE LOUNGE BAR
The Lounge Bar is also located on the ground floor, close to our state of the art TAB area including the latest Sports pick facilities. We have a huge range of Draught Beer and Premium Spirits available. This area includes a coffee shop that’s open all day long to keep you on your toes. Guests gain access to a delicious selection of homemade pies, gourmet sandwiches and cakes before hitting the greens.
THE MARLINS BAR
Located in Tails Restaurant on the first floor of the Club, Marlins Bar offers breathtaking views over the Bay and surrounds. The bar is open for lunch and dinner each day coinciding with Tails opening hours. Whether you’d like a perfectly mixed cocktail or a delicious beer, our selection is sure to please.
THE CROWS NEST BAR
The Crows Nest Bar can be found on the second floor of the club, and offers a sweeping view over the waters of Nelson Bay. This particular bar is available for private functions, but can also be visited during normal club hours.
